Returns and Refunds.

DMC Pereira de Melo recognises that all its customers are entitled to terminate the contracts they enter into, and may return, within 14 (fourteen) days, the products purchased under the terms of Portuguese legislation for distance and off-premises contracts (Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14, amended by Law no. 47/2014, of July 28 and Decree-Law no. 78/2018 of October 15).
To exchange or return any item, the customer must contact DMC Pereira de Melo via e-mail geral@pereirademelowines.com indicating the order or accompanying document number, taking into account the conditions described below, in the following topics:
In order to return the order, the product must be in perfect condition and, if applicable, with its original packaging, accessories or special offers included, accompanied by proof of purchase or the invoice.
The return of defective products and erroneous dispatches is permitted, wherein DMC Pereira de Melo shall be liable for the respective transportation and collection costs, whenever the customer communicates this fact within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the product.
Once the goods are received at our premises and after validating their status in conformity, the full amount shall be returned, in accordance with the payment method used by the customer, or another solution previously agreed with the latter.
DMC Pereira de Melo assumes liability for any defects of origin or raw material of the purchased product and if confirmed by DMC Pereira de Melo ’s specialised team, the product will be exchanged or returned without any cost to the customer.
DMC Pereira de Melo will not accept the return of a product after it has been used, or if it has been altered or modified.
DMC Pereira de Melo is not liable for any deficiencies resulting from incorrect use, negligence, poor storage conditions or force majeure events.
